BIOGRAPHY

Troy Szabo is an experienced health care attorney offering over 15 years of demonstrated achievements, industry knowledge, and a history of developing and sustaining long-term relationships in all areas of health care. Mr. Szabo has significant experience in regulatory compliance, enforcement, and licensing matters faced by the health care industry. He has represented health care payors in federal and state courts, as well as administrative proceedings before regulatory authorities, including the California Department of Managed Care, Department of Health Care Services, and the Department of Insurance. Mr. Szabo has also helped new plans become licensed with the Department of Managed Health Care.

Prior to joining KLO, Mr. Szabo served as an Enforcement and Licensing attorney for the Department of Managed Health Care and also as the Director of Regulatory and State Programs Policy for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan.
