BIOGRAPHY

Patrick S. Foster is an experienced litigator with significant trial experience who handles a wide range of complex healthcare matters. As a Partner at Kennaday Leavitt, Patrick advises and represents his health plan and managed care clients in various business disputes, hospital peer review actions, and in licensing audits and regulatory reviews. Patrick represents clients in the commercial and Medicare/Medi-Cal space both in arbitration and litigation and advises on regulatory compliance, contractual issues, licensing requirements, and administrative proceedings. Patrick has also prosecuted complex qui tam cases against providers accused of fraud perpetrated against commercial health plans. Prior to joining Kennaday Leavitt, Patrick was a senior prosecutor in the Special Victims Unit of the Sacramento District Attorney’s Office, where he personally tried 54 jury trials to verdict during a thirteen-year career.
