BIOGRAPHY
Patrick joined Kennaday Leavitt in January 2022 as a senior associate. Patrick represents health care entities and employers in all aspects of litigation-related disputes, in state and federal court, as well as in arbitration.
Before joining Kennaday Leavitt, Patrick worked for 13 years as a Deputy District Attorney for the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office. As Deputy District Attorney, Patrick prosecuted complex felony criminal cases involving murder, robbery, sexual offenses against adults and children, fraud, burglary, domestic violence, carjacking, arson, and gang violence. He conducted 56 solo jury trials, handling all aspects of litigation from pre-trial motions to post-conviction litigation. Patrick also supervised research assistants, interns and new attorneys. Patrick extended his service through presentations and lectures on various advanced trial litigation topics including, Jury Selection, Cross Examination, Child Sexual Abuse Accommodation Syndrome, and Battered Person Syndrome.
