BIOGRAPHY

Allison Nye is a shareholder who handles a wide range of complex litigation matters. With ten years of demonstrated achievements as a litigator to draw upon, she skillfully advises and defends both public and private employers against claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, defamation, and other related claims under state and federal statutes, as well as wage and hour disputes. She also represents health care payors and medical providers in various tort matters and payor-provider disputes.

Prior to joining Kennaday Leavitt PC in 2017, Ms. Nye litigated personal injury claims and elder abuse actions. As a law student, she represented underserved defendants against various criminal misdemeanor and felony charges.

Ms. Nye’s experience includes advising clients on complex legal issues, factual investigations, as well as all aspects of discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, arbitration, and trial work. Ms. Nye has personally conducted and/or defended countless depositions, she has tried cases to conclusion in state court and arbitration, and she has prevailed on numerous dispositive motions, including motions for summary judgment, anti-SLAPP motions, and demurrers.

 Ms. Nye is a top-rated litigation attorney, and has been recognized by Northern California Super Lawyers as a Rising Star since 2020.
