BIOGRAPHY

Susan Schoenig advises a diverse group of public and private employers in all types of employment and labor matters including drafting contracts, employee handbooks and policies, counseling on discipline and termination matters, and investigating claims of discrimination and harassment. She has handled wrongful termination and unlawful harassment matters from the filing of the initial complaint through investigation, subsequent litigation and trial. Ms. Schoenig has served as California Public Employees Retirement System’s litigation supervisor.

 

Ms. Schoenig has been listed as a Northern California Super Lawyer for employment and labor law for the past eight years. She received American Jurisprudence Awards in civil procedure, trusts and finance, and the Emil Gumpert Award for Outstanding Achievement in Trial Advocacy. She is AV rated by LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell’s peer review rating system. She is a member of the State Bar of California and the Sacramento County Bar Association. She is a past member of the Milton L. Schwartz Inn of Court and the Anthony M. Kennedy Inn of Court.
