Kelli Kennaday Presents Leave Law Seminar to Sacramento Employer Advisory Council Members

Kennaday Leavitt partner Kelli Kennaday recently discussed state and federal leave laws in a presentation titled, “From FMLA/CFRA to the Labor Code: Understanding the Tangled Web of Leave Laws and How They Apply to You”. The presentation was given to members of the Sacramento Employer Advisory Council, whose mission is to help employers conduct their businesses more effectively and efficiently, provide information about employment related issues, and enhance communication between the Employment Development Department and private sector.

Ms. Kennaday’s presentation focused on the interplay between federal and state requirements regarding leaves of absence and addressed employer obligations for reasonable accommodation and the interactive process as well as other current issues regarding employee leaves of absence.
